Who We Are

BloomBar_small-transparent.png

The Bloom Bar brand began during the onset of the global Covid-19 pandemic in June of 2020.  Like so many other hospitality professionals, the company’s founder and owner Rori Robinson had been furloughed from both of her service industry jobs, and had no concrete plans on returning to either. Instead, she found herself redirecting her time and energy toward her passion projects: working in her burgeoning home and community gardens, continuing education in her respective fields, and creatively building a legacy that would allow her to step from behind the bar full-time while still remaining connected to it.  The result was the formation of the Bloom Bar brand, which harmoniously connected all these facets into a unique entrepreneurial venture.

In addition to providing beverage services, our brand also has a specialty food retail business! Bloom Bar Garnish Company manufactures and sells handcrafted syrups, herbal teas, and spice blends that can be used in drinks of all kinds; mocktails and cocktails, hot and cold. Every item in our plant-based product line is vegan, small batched, and uses locally sourced ingredients. To learn more, visit our store’s website at www.bloomgarnishes.com.

About the owner…..

Rori Robinson is a 15 year hospitality veteran of Atlanta.  She is a former bartender for Concentrics Restaurant Group as well as Painted Hospitality, putting in years of service at notable establishments such as Parish, TAP, The Spence, Nexto, and The Painted Pin.  Just prior to launching Bloom Bar, Rori was working as Events Manager for Likewise Bar and Lounge, located inside of Ponce City Market in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta.

During her time behind the bar, Rori invested in continuing education, earning multiple industry and spirit-led certifications. She is currently in pursuit of her Level 3 WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) certification, with the aspiration of becoming a certified educator in her respective fields. In addition to her entrepreneurial startups, Rori currently serves as the Director of Gardening and Development for the non-profit organization A Sip of Paradise Garden, which is a bartender-based and led community garden in East Atlanta Village.
